The Ordnance QF 95 mm howitzer was a British howitzer of the Second World War, designed in 1942 and built in two versions, a tank-mounted close-support gun that entered service in 1944 and an infantry version that was never accepted for service. It fired a fixed 94x206R shell weighing 25 pounds from an 80.4 inch barrel with a hydropneumatic recoil system and a box trail carriage, achieving a muzzle velocity of 330 meters per second, a rate of fire of about 7 rounds per minute, and an effective range of roughly 7,315 meters. The tank version armed British close-support tanks during the war.
