Event entities are the specific occurrences this atlas documents in its own subject area: notable happenings, turning points or episodes relevant to what the atlas covers, each carrying its own date, participants and outcome. A polity, organization or figure connected to an event is its own entity, linked to the event by relationship rather than folded into it, and this category lists every event entity the atlas currently carries rather than the entities that took part in them.
