Grenade Launchers

Grenade launchers are weapons that throw or fire small explosive grenades much farther than a soldier can throw them, including single-shot, pump-action, magazine-fed and belt-fed automatic models. A weapon belongs here when the infobox of its cited article names it a grenade launcher or automatic grenade launcher. It excludes hand grenades and rocket-propelled grenade launchers, which sit in their own groups. Weapons in this group are placed by what their own cited article states, so a visitor browsing grenade launchers sees only systems whose sources name that role, and can compare them across eras, makers and the forces that used them.
