The DP-64 Nepryadva is a Russian special-purpose, double-barreled, over/under grenade launcher designed by Viktor Rebrikov and built at the Degtyarev plant to protect surfaced submarines, ships, dockyards and coastal installations from combat swimmers and naval special forces. Designed in 1989 and produced from 1990, it functions much like a large break-action shotgun, firing 45mm rounds that act as small depth charges against submerged divers out to a range of 400 meters. The weapon entered serial production by 2015, with Russia's Defense Ministry placing large orders for naval infantry and coastal defense units.
