The Ksp 58 is the Swedish-produced variant of the Belgian FN MAG general-purpose machine gun, adopted by the Swedish Armed Forces in 1958 and still in service. It was built jointly by FN Herstal of Belgium and Carl Gustafs stads Gevarsfaktori of Sweden, part of a wider postwar effort by several nations to develop machine guns influenced by the German MG 42.
