The QJG-02, sold for export as the CS/LM2, is a Chinese anti-aircraft heavy machine gun made by Norinco for the People's Liberation Army. It replaced the Type 58, which was a direct copy of the Soviet KPV, with an indigenous design similar to the earlier W85 heavy machine gun. China began developing a new lightweight anti-aircraft gun in the 1990s, the design was finalized in 2002 and the Type 02 was adopted in 2004. It fires 14.5 by 114 mm ammunition at about 600 rounds per minute and can be mounted on tripods or vehicles. The whole system with a low-profile single-gun mount weighs 75 kilograms. The QJG-02G variant adds a wheeled tripod so a light utility vehicle can tow it. Users include China, Iraq and Iran.
