The Sukhoi Su-30, given the NATO reporting name Flanker-C/G/H, is a twin-engine, two-seat supermaneuverable fighter aircraft developed in the Soviet Union during the 1980s by the Sukhoi Aviation Corporation. It serves as a multirole fighter for all-weather air-to-air and strike missions, first flew on December 31, 1989, and entered service in 1992, with the further-upgraded Su-30SM variant introduced in 2013; as of 2024 the Russian Aerospace Forces maintained roughly 130 Su-30SM aircraft.
