Naval Strike Missile

The Naval Strike Missile is an anti-ship and land-attack cruise missile developed by the Norwegian company Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace, originally designated Nytt sjomalsmissil as a successor to the Penguin missile. It has been in service since 2012, using stealth-shaped composite construction and flying at about Mach 0.93 with an operational range beyond 200 kilometers, extended to 250 kilometers in later variants. The missile has since been adopted by multiple navies, including Australia, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, the United Kingdom and the United States, fired from ships and coastal defense batteries alike.
