Qader (missile)

The Qader is a medium range anti-ship cruise missile developed by Iran and manufactured by the Iranian Aviation Industries Organization, unveiled in August 2011 as an upgraded version of the Noor missile, which was itself based on the Chinese C-802. Iranian officials described it as the most powerful and precise missile in their naval arsenal, and it carries a 200 kilogram high explosive warhead over a sea skimming flight profile to a range of about 300 kilometers using a turbojet engine. It has been deployed by the Iranian Navy and the Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and has also been used by Hezbollah and Houthi forces.
