The Air Defense Anti-Tank System, built by Oerlikon and Martin Marietta on the M113A2 vehicle, is a dual-purpose short-range surface-to-air and anti-tank missile system. Its laser-guided supersonic missile has a range of ten kilometres and uses an electro-optical sensor with television and forward-looking infrared imaging, while the carrying vehicle mounts a search radar effective beyond twenty-five kilometres.
