The Fateh-313 is an Iranian solid fuel short range ballistic missile unveiled on August 21, 2015, described by Iran as nearly identical to the earlier Fateh-110 but built with a new composite fuel and airframe. It weighs 3,245 kilograms, is 8,756 millimeters long, carries a 380 kilogram warhead, and has a reported operational range of 300 to 500 kilometers using inertial guidance refined by an electro-optical terminal seeker and a single stage solid rocket motor fired from a mobile launcher. Iran used the Fateh-313 in January 2020 in what it called Operation Martyr Soleimani, striking US military positions in Iraq.
