Missiles And Guided Munitions

The Hwasong-7 is a single-stage, mobile, liquid-fuelled medium-range ballistic missile developed by North Korea in the mid-1980s as a scaled-up adaptation of the Soviet R-17 Elbrus missile. It entered service in 1998, remains in North Korean inventory in an estimated 200 to 300 units, and its underlying technology has influenced missile programs in Iran and Pakistan.
