SM-65D Atlas

The SM-65D Atlas, or Atlas D, was the first operational version of the American Atlas missile family, built by Convair and General Dynamics as an intercontinental ballistic missile for nuclear delivery on suborbital trajectories before being adapted into a space launch vehicle able to reach low Earth orbit, geosynchronous orbit and beyond when paired with an Agena or Centaur upper stage. It stood 25.15 meters tall, measured 3 meters in diameter, weighed about 119,000 kilograms, and used a stage-and-a-half configuration with two Rocketdyne booster engines and one Rocketdyne sustainer engine burning RP-1 and liquid oxygen. Flown from Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg between April 1959 and November 1967, it flew 135 times with 103 successes before being retired.
