The Dongfeng series, usually abbreviated as the DF missiles, is a family of short-, medium-, intermediate-range and intercontinental ballistic missiles operated by the Chinese People's Liberation Army Rocket Force. Missiles in the series have consistently served as the primary means of delivering China's nuclear weapons. Early Dongfeng development also gave rise to the Long March family of space launch vehicles.
