The Qassem Bassir is an Iranian solid-fueled, two-stage medium-range ballistic missile unveiled by Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh on state television on May 4, 2025, presented as an improved variant of Iran's Haj Qassem missile series and named for Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani. Iranian officials describe it as carrying a range of about 1,200 kilometers with enhanced guidance and countermeasure resistance, and it has been assessed as the most advanced missile in Iran's arsenal at the time of its unveiling.
