Fattah-1 is an Iranian medium-range ballistic missile developed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and unveiled in June 2023. Iran describes the missile as hypersonic, though several media outlets and at least one missile analyst have called that description doubtful or unclear. Iran says the design favors high maneuverability and speed to help it evade missile defense systems. Iran unveiled a newer version, Fattah-2, in November 2023.
