Wind Demon is an Israeli long-range air-launched cruise missile developed by Israel Aerospace Industries, unveiled at the Farnborough Air Show on 22 July 2024. Equipped with an electro-optical homing warhead, it is designed to neutralize a wide range of targets at ranges exceeding 200 kilometers with minimal resources, and can be launched from helicopters or fixed-wing aircraft. It was developed to meet demand for an effective, relatively inexpensive weapon usable in prolonged combat.
