Barak 8, also known as the LR-SAM or MR-SAM, is a medium to long range surface-to-air missile system jointly developed by India and Israel. It is designed to defend against aircraft, helicopters, anti-ship missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and combat jets, and both maritime and land-based variants of the system exist.
