The Tondar-69 is a short-range ballistic missile operated by Iran since its deployment by the Iranian army in 1992, based on the Chinese M-7 (CSS-8) design, which was itself adapted from the Soviet S-75 surface-to-air missile. It carries a single warhead of up to 190 kilograms out to a range of about 150 kilometers, using a two-stage engine combining a solid-fuel booster and a liquid-fuel sustainer with inertial guidance and command updates.
