BL 9.2-inch Mk IX, X naval gun

The BL 9.2-inch Mk IX and Mk X were British breech-loading 9.2-inch (234 mm) guns of 46.7 calibre, manufactured by the Elswick Ordnance Company, Vickers and William Beardmore and Company. They served as naval guns and coast defence guns in the United Kingdom from 1899 into the 1950s, giving them one of the longest, most varied and successful service records of any British heavy ordnance of their era.
