The Remington Model 7400 is a semi-automatic centerfire rifle built by Remington Arms in the United States from 1981 to 2004, chambered in cartridges including .270 Winchester, .30-06 Springfield, and .308 Winchester. It weighed 7.5 pounds, measured 42 inches overall with an 18 inch or 22 inch barrel, and carried a checkered pistol grip stock with a straight comb, iron sights, and a receiver drilled for scope mounting.
