Heckler & Koch VP9

The Heckler and Koch VP9 is a polymer framed, striker fired semi automatic pistol designed by Frank Henninger and introduced by the German firm Heckler and Koch in 2014. Its name stands for Volkspistole, or civilian pistol, and it was originally developed at the request of the Bavarian State Police to replace the HK P7. The pistol offers ambidextrous controls, a grip that can be configured in 27 ways, and a Picatinny rail for accessories, and it has since been adopted by law enforcement agencies across Europe, Asia and North America, alongside a .40 S&W variant called the VP40.
