AMT AutoMag V

The AMT AutoMag V is a large single action semi-automatic pistol chambered for the .50 Action Express cartridge, designed by Harry Sanford, who had earlier designed the original .44 AutoMag pistol, and built by Arcadia Machine and Tool in the United States from 1993 to 1995. Made of cast stainless steel and fitted with compensator ports to manage recoil, it weighed 1,310 grams, measured 27.3 centimeters overall with a 16.7 centimeter barrel, held five rounds, and had an effective range of about 50 meters at a suggested retail price of 900 dollars. AMT built roughly 3,000 units, short of its original production goal, and the pistol shared much of its frame design with the earlier AutoMag Mark IV.
