The MKE JNG-90, nicknamed Bora, is a bolt-action sniper rifle firing the 7.62x51mm NATO round, used by the Turkish military. Developed between 2004 and 2008 in collaboration with the Turkish Gendarmerie, it has been in service since 2008 and is currently offered for export. It weighs 6.4 kilograms, measures 1,220 millimeters retracted and 1,265 millimeters extended, with a 660 millimeter barrel, a muzzle velocity of 860 meters per second, an effective firing range of 1,000 meters, and a 10-round magazine.
