Roth-Steyr M1907

The Roth-Steyr M1907, also called the Roth-Krnka M.7 or the Roth-Steyr Model, is an Austro-Hungarian semi-automatic pistol designed by Karel Krnka and built by Osterreichische Waffenfabriks-Gesellschaft and Fegyver- es Gepgyar. Adopted in 1907, it was issued to the cavalry of the Austro-Hungarian Army and entered service in 1909. It was a significant early military self-loading pistol, seeing service through the First World War, and was among the first semi-automatic pistols adopted for military service by a major European power, following earlier adoptions in Switzerland, Germany, and Italy.
