Smith & Wesson Model 645

The Smith & Wesson 645, together with its sibling the Model 745, is a second-generation semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP, predating Smith & Wesson's later 4500 series of handguns. The Model 645 is built almost entirely of stainless steel, making it highly resistant to harsh weather conditions, while the Model 745 instead pairs a stainless steel frame with a blued carbon steel slide. The Model 645 was introduced by Smith & Wesson of the United States in 1985 and discontinued in 1988.
