Madsen M47

The Madsen Lightweight Military Rifle Model 1947, known as the M47, is a Danish bolt-action rifle designed by Compagnie Madsen in 1947 and built by Dansk Industri Syndikat, intended to be chambered for a wide range of contemporary military cartridges and marketed from 1951 onward chiefly to countries that could not afford newer semi-automatic rifles; it is regarded as the last bolt-action rifle designed with the intention of general infantry issue. Chambered for .30-06 Springfield, it weighs 8.5 pounds, measures 43 inches overall with a 23.4 inch barrel, and loads via a 5-round stripper clip into an internal box magazine, but abundant war-surplus weapons and the rapid postwar adoption of self-loading rifles meant only about 6,000 were built, used chiefly by Denmark and Colombia.
