The Savage Model 110 is a bolt action repeating rifle manufactured by Savage Arms in the United States, designed by Nicholas L. Brewer beginning in 1956, introduced to production in 1958, and patented in 1963, remaining in continuous production since. It was engineered to give hunters a strong, powerful rifle that was also light and affordable, and its model number is derived from its original retail price of 109 dollars and 95 cents. Beginning in 1959 the line included the first left handed bolt action rifle produced in volume by a major American firearms manufacturer.
