The FGC-9 is a semi-automatic pistol-caliber carbine designed by the German-Kurdish gun designer Jacob Duygu, under the pseudonym JStark1809, and first released in March 2020. It is built as a physible, largely 3D-printed weapon combining printed parts with easily obtained metal components, springs, screws and nuts, chambered for 9x19mm and using Glock-pattern magazines, and was created to circumvent restrictive European firearms laws. Open-source build documentation spread the design worldwide, and an updated Mark II version followed in April 2021.
