Kbsp wz. 38M

The kbsp wz. 38M is a 7.92mm semi-automatic rifle designed by Jozef Maroszek and used in small numbers by the Polish Army during the 1939 Polish Campaign of the Second World War. Designed between 1934 and 1937 and produced from 1938 to 1939 at Warsaw's Arsenal No. 2 with barrels from the State Rifle Factory, it used a gas-operated action with a tilting bolt lock, chambered the 7.92x57mm Mauser cartridge in a ten round internal box magazine, weighed 4.5 kilograms, and measured 1,134 millimeters overall. Only about 150 were built before the German invasion halted production, making it an early self-loading rifle design that saw combat use despite its very limited numbers.
