The FN FNP is a series of semi-automatic, polymer-framed pistols manufactured in Columbia, South Carolina, by FNH USA, a division of Fabrique Nationale de Herstal, and produced from 2006 to 2011. It fires from a hammer using a Browning cam system with an external extractor and operates in double or single action, with trigger pulls of about 8 pounds-force in double action and 3 to 4 pounds-force in single action. The pistol was offered in multiple calibers including 9x19mm Parabellum, .40 S&W, .357 SIG, and .45 ACP.
