The Smith & Wesson Model 625 is a six-shot, double-action revolver chambered in .45 ACP and fired with moon clips, built on Smith & Wesson large stainless steel N-frame. It was introduced in 1988 as an improved stainless successor to the Model 22, itself a modern descendant of the M1917 service revolver, and was produced with three-inch, four-inch and five-inch barrels.
