Small Arms And Sidearms

The Astra A-60 is a double-action and single-action semi-automatic pistol that was at one time produced in Spain by Astra-Unceta y Cia SA. Its design is similar to that of the Walther PP, and it features a slide-lock release lever. It is a straight blowback pistol with a barrel of about 3.25 inches and an overall length of about 6.5 inches, fitted with a fixed front sight and an adjustable rear sight. The pistol was offered in two chamberings, .32 ACP and .380 ACP, and its detachable box magazine holds twelve rounds in .32 ACP and thirteen in .380 ACP. The article lists the Spanish Armed Forces under service and the Spanish military among its users, without giving dates, campaigns or production figures, so its introduction year and any wartime use are not stated by the source.
