The FB MAG, also called the FB Radom MAG, was a Polish semi-automatic service pistol designed by Marian Gryszkiewicz and built at the Lucznik arms factory in Radom. It was designed in 1993 and 1994 as a modern 9x19mm Parabellum replacement for the Soviet-era pistols in Polish service, and it was produced from 1995 to 2000. It used a short-recoil locked-breech action, a fifteen-round magazine and a decocking lever, and weighed about 1.23 kilograms. The Polish Army judged the MAG-95 too heavy and chose the WIST-94, even after a lighter MAG-98 appeared, so only Polish Border Guard and prison security units used it, with a small number passed to Lithuania. A competition MAG-98C and a MAG-08 with an accessory rail followed.
