The KH-2002 Khaybar is an Iranian assault rifle derived from the DIO S 5.56 rifle and further developed by Iran's Defense Industries Organization. Designed in 2001 with prototype samples produced in 2003, full production began in 2004, and the rifle resembles the Chinese QBZ-95 and French FAMAS in appearance.
