The Accuracy International AW50 is a bolt-action anti-materiel rifle chambered for the .50 BMG cartridge (12.7x99mm NATO), designed and built by the British firm Accuracy International. It is a re-engineered version of the company's Arctic Warfare sniper rifle, the standard issue sniper rifle of British forces, scaled up to fire the heavy .50 round. The rifle weighs about 15 kilograms with its bipod, measures roughly 1,420 millimetres in length and folds to about 1,170 millimetres for carrying. Its stated effective range is around 1,500 metres. The infobox lists a service period from 2000 to the present and points to a separate list of users, which this entry does not yet reproduce.
