The OSV-96 is a Russian semi-automatic anti-materiel rifle developed by the KBP Instrument Design Bureau under designer A.G. Shipunov from an earlier 1994 prototype, entering use around 2000 and chambered in 12.7x108mm. It folds for portability, uses a free-floating barrel and a large muzzle brake to manage recoil, is rated to engage infantry out to about 1,800 meters and materiel targets beyond 2,500 meters, and has seen combat use including in the Syrian civil war and the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
