The Kulsprutepistol m/45, also known as the Carl Gustaf m/45 or the Swedish K, is a 9x19mm Swedish submachine gun designed by Gunnar Johansson and adopted in 1945, from which its m/45 designation is taken. It was manufactured at the Carl Gustafs Stads Gevarsfaktori in Eskilstuna, Sweden, and later built under license at the Maadi factories in Egypt from 1965. It served as the standard submachine gun of Swedish forces from 1945 to 1965 before being phased out by assault rifles, though the Swedish Home Guard did not retire it until April 2007.
