The Zastava PPZ is a semi-automatic pistol made by the Serbian firm Zastava Arms, representing the latest generation of the manufacturer CZ 99 series of handguns. Development ran through several iterations, from the initial CZ M-07 design in 2007 to the RASHOMON prototype in 2010 and the final PPZ prototype in 2012, with a polymer frame, an interchangeable backstrap, and a full-length MIL-STD-1913 rail that allows modular caliber conversion by changing the barrel, spring and magazine.
