Apache revolver

The Apache revolver is a combination weapon that pairs a small pinfire revolver with a folding knuckle-duster grip and a foldout double-edged knife, designed by Louis Dolne and manufactured by L. Dolne a Liege in Belgium. Designed in 1860 and produced from 1869 into the late 1870s, it fired 7mm Lefaucheux pinfire cartridges from a six-round cylinder, folding down to 4.3 inches and opening to 7.8 inches. It had no true barrel, using only the cylinder itself as a bore, which limited its effective range to point-blank distance, and it became associated with the French criminal underworld of the early twentieth century known as the Apaches.
