Vz. 50

The Vz. 50 is a Czechoslovak double-action, semi-automatic pistol designed by Jan and Jaroslav Kratochvil in the 1940s and put into production by Ceska Zbrojovka Uhersky Brod in 1947. Chambered in .32 ACP with an 8 or 9-round magazine and a blowback action, it combined design elements drawn from the Walther PP and PPK pistols. It remained in production until 1970, when it was succeeded by the refined Vz. 70 model.
