The LAR Grizzly Win Mag is a semi-automatic pistol built as an enlarged version of the Colt M1911 design, created by inventor Perry Arnett and produced under license by the American company L.A.R. Manufacturing Inc. Introduced in the mid-1980s as the Mark I, it was manufactured from 1983 to 1999 with roughly 15,000 units made. The pistol was built to handle far more powerful cartridges than a standard 1911 could fire, chiefly the .45 Winchester Magnum and the .50 Action Express, through conversion kits offering additional calibers.
