AK-107

Small Arms And Sidearms

The AK-107 is a Russian 5.45x39mm assault rifle developed from the AK-100 series, featuring a balanced operating system similar to that used in the AEK-971. In this design the AK designation does not stand for Avtomat Kalashnikova but for Alexandrov/Kalashnikov, reflecting the incorporation of a new gas system for Kalashnikov-pattern rifles designed by Youriy Alexandrov.
