The Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle, built as a blowback-operated variant of the company M&P15 rifle and produced since 2009. Its polymer upper and lower receivers make it a cheaper training and recreational alternative to standard AR-15-pattern rifles built from aluminum alloy.
