Colt Canada C7

The Colt Canada C7 is the Canadian military version of Colt Armalite AR-15 platform, manufactured by Colt Canada, formerly Diemaco, with design and function similar to the M16A3. It has served as the standard issue rifle of the Canadian military since 1982 and has also been adopted by Norwegian special forces, Denmark and the Netherlands, while British special operations units use the C8 carbine variant under the designation L119A1. Forces from these countries have used the rifle extensively in Afghanistan, Iraq and Mali.
