Assault Rifles of Europe

This is a child group of Assault Rifles, collecting the Small Arms And Sidearms subcategory's assault rifles whose own record traces them to a European country other than Germany or Russia, none reaching five members on its own within this split: the United Kingdom, Finland, Switzerland, Serbia, Sweden, Czechia, Ukraine, Hungary, Bulgaria, Italy, France, Poland, Romania and Austria. The group spans Cold War era Warsaw Pact and NATO service rifles, Nordic and Alpine national designs such as Finland's Automatkarbin 24 and 5 and Switzerland's own service rifles, and more recent export and modernization programs such as the Bulgarian AR-M1 and the Czech CZ 805 BREN, grouped together as one European bucket rather than as fourteen separate single- or few-member country groups.
