Vektor CR-21

The Vektor CR-21, whose name stands for Combat Rifle 21st Century, is a South African bullpup assault rifle developed by Denel Land Systems and introduced in 1997 as a potential replacement for South Africa's Vektor R4 service rifle. Chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, it weighs 3.72 kilograms, fires at a rate of 700 rounds per minute in fully automatic mode and has an effective range of about 400 meters. It raised little interest either domestically or internationally, and only about 200 were built.
