The KelTec RDB, for Rifle, Downward-ejection, Bullpup, is an American bullpup carbine designed in 2015 by George Kellgren and manufactured by KelTec of Florida in 5.56x45mm NATO, produced since 2015. Its rotary bolt ejects spent cases downward through spring-loaded ejectors rather than to the side, allowing ambidextrous use without adjustment; the 17 inch barrel version weighs 6.7 pounds and the 20 inch version 7.1 pounds, both with an overall length of 27.3 inches, operating by a gas-operated rotating bolt action.
