The OTs-03 SVU, often called the Dragunov SVU, is a bullpup designated marksman rifle chambered in 7.62x54mmR and developed by Russia's KBP Instrument Design Bureau, designed in 1990 to meet the needs of the security forces of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, including the OMON riot police. It entered service in 1994 and was first used in combat during the First Chechen War.
