The Pindad SPR, an abbreviation of the Indonesian Senapan Penembak Runduk, or sniper rifle, is a family of sniper rifles made by Pindad of Indonesia, with design work beginning in 2000 and entry into service in 2003, driven by arms embargoes during a period when the Indonesian military was deployed in anti-insurgency operations. The family comprises four variants: the bolt-action SPR-1 and SPR-3 chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO, the SPR-2, a .50 BMG anti-materiel rifle weighing 19.5 kilograms with a 2,000-meter effective range, and the SPR-4, chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum with a 1,500-meter effective range.
